Abstract
Congenital absence of vagina is a rare anomaly.
Embryologically it derives from the underdevelopement of Mullerian duct and urogenital sinus. The main chief complaint to come to the clinic is amenorrhea.
Occasionally it combines with urogenital or spine anomaly, such as heterotrophic kidney and scoliosis.
Mclndoe operation, the split thickness skin graft technique for vaginal ag / nesis, is the world wide accepted and popular procedure for vaginal agenesis because of it¢¥s simplicity, low morbidity and high degree of physiologic success.
Author experienced a congenital absence of vagina by using McIndoe procedure and obtained good result.
And I report my experience and reviewed literature.
